Blah Blah Blog

My eyes popped open around 5:15 am this morning and I had the insane desire to update my blah - blah blog. Yesterday was a slacker day like normal until I was compelled to deep clean my room. I even flipped my mattress. Is that called nesting or boredom.

Scott is (cross our fingers and toes) changing times at work so he may start school next month. That way in two years we could “move on up” like the Jefferson’s; or my personal favorite keep up with the Brunner’s.

Blog Slacker

I have been told I’m a little slow on the blog updates. : ) I didn’t know I had so many people who would really check my blog. Call me slow. The Spirit of Elijah has Scott in a full nelson. His new obsession is with family history. I had to pry him off the computer last weekend. Other then that, my life revolves around trying not to feel sick. All the pregnant people in my life have make it look easy. Probably because I didn’t feel a thing. I can’t believe I was upset about being tired. What a goofy goober. Bring back the tired. My first OBGYN visit is tomorrow. I am excited and anxious at the same time. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Time Already

We found out not long ago (7/19/05) that I am pregnant. The experts say your to keep it to yourself for the first little bit. Scott and I have been married for eight years. It might not sound like a long time but wow, you start to wonder if one or both of us is broken. So I had to tell the world. This is all foreign to me. All of the trips to the bathroom and feeling like I could sleep 24/7. My job in life right now is just to take care of my eighty two year old father. Who is doing really well right now. I am so proud of him. He takes what life gives him and just keeps pluggin’ along. Dialysis is really new in his life and he is a real trooper about the whole thing. Anywho, I started this blog to write some of my feelings down as I go through this new stage in life.
